Centre for Intercultural Dialogue, Slovakia

Centre for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) is a non-governmental organization based in Bratislava, Slovakia. Its goal is to promote diversity and mutual understanding, international cooperation and mobility. Our activities and projects reflect recent developments in the society and seek to support disadvantaged and vulnerable groups (disadvantaged young people, unemployed, migrants, etc.). CID supports personal and professional development of young people, social integration and obtaining experiences abroad (trainings, seminars, European Voluntary Service, youth exchanges and training activities, work placements, etc.).

CID has extensive experiences in EU-funded projects and project management (Erasmus+, European Social Fund, Life-Long Learning Programme, Youth in Action, European Integration Fund. From 2015, CID has intensified its activities in the countries of the Eastern Partnerships (mainly Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan) within several projects building capacities of the civil society and promoting better understanding, tolerance and cooperation.

Since 2015, we have been involved in the programme Mobipro, which allows Slovak young people to obtain 3-year vocational training in Germany.

Giosef Italy

The Association Giosef Italy was founded in April, 1998 and aims to promote active European citizenship and youth positive international mobility. Our main aim is to creating new dimensions for young people in social and public life in order to facilitate their ability to cope with the needs of new generations.

In addition, Giosef Italy supports ideas from Europe, based on democracy, peace and tolerance and different topics from the social inclusion and fight against discrimination to the youth access to the work. Moreover, Giosef promotes non-formal educational paths and vocational training from an intercultural perspective.

Giosef Italy has gained the status of a national and European association. It has got 10 other offices both in Northern and Southern Italy and can count on several partnerships in 27 EU Countries. The local offices work autonomously or in close collaboration assuring close co-operation with public bodies all over Italy. Giosef Italy is really experienced in foster youth participation and involving young people in active citizenship initiatives.

Giosef Italy has a important experience in structured dialogue between young people and policy makers.

Giosef – Italy promotes transnational volunteering through the European Voluntary Service (EVS) and projects in the frame of Erasmus +.

CEPS Projectes Socials Barcelona, Spain

CEPS PROJECTES SOCIALS * mission is to facilitate the access to the social and cultural capital of the citizens by the empowerment of people, the fostering of social cohesion and social inclusion and the fight against discrimination.

In order to achieve this, CEPS PROJECTES SOCIALS defines its frame of intervention (training, education, community, international projects) in a model based in a clear balance between efficiency and innovation. An strategic and social view of the use of technologies is put into practice, new ways of participation are tested and strategic (local and international) partnerships are developed. Evaluation and creativity blend together into inspiring solutions for the community. CEPS PROJECTES SOCIALS is responsible for the management and implementation of socio-educational activities for children, young people and adults, further training for professionals and innovative research and development in new projects and practices. CEPS was established in 1994 and employs approximately 230 people, mainly in the Barcelona area.

Founded in Berlin in 1993, the EUROCIRCLE network is a European grouping of project managers actively involved in the social sectors of education and employment. In 1995, the network became a non-profit-making organization under French law, and settled in Marseille. Eurocircle is a European NGO that develops, carries out and promotes transnational projects in the field of international mobility and non-formal education for youth. The objective is to give the youth of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA) region access to European mobility and non-formal education in order to facilitate their socio-professional integration. Moreover, EUROCIRCLE has been endeavoring to support project managers in their implementation of a European approach by initiating European partnerships in order to set up transnational projects.

One of Eurocircle’s priorities is young people with fewer opportunities, such as people who are unemployed, live in rural areas, left school early, have an immigrant background, etc. Eurocircle is divided in the following departments: International Civic Service and EVS (sending, coordinating and hosting organizations), youth exchange, professional internship and cultural project. In addition, the Eurocircle team includes multiple trainers and we regularly develop formation courses for youth and social workers.
Eurocircle operates as an applicant or partner in different projects such as European programs like: Youth in Action, Life Long Learning (Grundtvig, Leonardo), Life, Prince, Equal, Daphné, Progress. We develop and collaborate as well in innovative and experimental programs corresponding to the: Social European Fund and the Fund for Experimental Youth Projects.

Shida Kartli Regional Development Centre

Shida Kartli Regional Development Centre, Georgia

Shida Kartli Regional Development Centre is a NGO, established in 2015, in the City of Gori (Shida Kartli region), Georgia, with the aim to support the socio-economic development on the local and national levels and make a special focus on the social and educational projects. Although it is the new organization, it is founded by people, who have a rich experience in social activities and in implementation of national and international projects.
